Managing your profile

Updating Your Account
The Manage your Profile page enables you to make changes to the information associated with your company profile. You can access this page by logging into your company profile at the top right hand side of every page.

Change you Email Address

If your company's email address has changed since you created the account, login to your profile and click on the Company Details link under your Company Profile heading.

If your personal email address has changed since you created your account, login to your profile and click on the Contact Person(s) link under your Company Profile heading.

Change your Password

If you want to change your password, login to your profile and click on the Company Details link under your Company Profile heading.

The password is case-sensitive, and it must contain at least five alphanumeric characters. You are asked to enter your password twice, to verify the spelling.

Products & Brand Names

Products/Brand Names are products, services and brands that your business provides. Adding products, brands and services to your business profile increases the likelihood that a customer will find your business when they perform a specialized search. To update your products and brand names, login to your profile and click on the Products/Brand Names link under your Company profile heading.

Products/Brand Names: (Example: BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Your Company Name).
The brand name search is not case sensitive!
Do NOT enter a keyword more than once.
Do NOT use keywords like 'car' or 'workshop' as brand names.
It will only delay the approval period.
No HTML mark-up is allowed.

 

Your Priority Listing

Cancellation of your Priority Listing

Step by step procedure:

  • Login to your company profile.
  • Under the ONLINE BILLING heading, select the "Insertion Order Status" button, then click on "View".
  • On the next page, click on the "Change Order Renewal Status" button.
  •   Once you've clicked this button, your "Renew Order" status of Active, will change to Inactive.

NB:  Under the ORDER DETAILS heading, check your campaign period.  Your Insertion Order contract is for a period of 12 months and your order will only be cancelled at the end of your Campaign Period.

 

Category Selection

On SAYellow.com businesses are grouped into pre-defined categories. Categories help users narrow their search results and find the type of business they are looking for. Your ad will appear when customers search in the categories you choose.

Select your Category

Use our category search tool to find the right categories based on words or phrases that describe your business's products and/or services.

Based on your search, SAYellow may offer related categories to help you find what you're looking for. If SA Yellow finds more than one category that matches the search criteria, your Matching Categories will be displayed in the "Matching Categories" section below the search field. This section shows how many listings and how many different categories match your search criteria.

When you're happy with one of the categories listed, Just click the category. If you're not happy with the Categories displayed, enter a different keyword in the search field to try again.

 

Category Keywords

Our categories are linked to keywords to make it easier for clients to find what they need. Adding keywords to your category increases the likelihood that a customer will find your category when they perform a search.

eg. The category is "ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERS "

  Keywords linked :
  to ARCHITECTURAL = architect, architects, architectural, architecturally, architecture
  to ENGINEERS = engineer, engineered, engineering, engineers

What is a business profile?

A business profile allows you to provide more detailed information about the products and services your business provides in addition to address and contact information.

I'm getting a Site Maintenance Error

  • "Site Maintenance" usually means that we're making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on. While we're doing this, you will not be able to access your account. In most instances, this maintenance will last only a few hours. Please note:
  • After the maintenance is over, you will still be able to login with the same password.
  • Your profile and account will not be affected by the maintenance.
  • It is not necessary to contact us about Site Maintenance. If your maintenance lasts for an extended period of time, however, please let us know by putting "Site Maintenance" in the subject line.
